Inauguration of the exhibition “THESAURUS. The usurped heritage.”

The temporary exhibition
"THESAURUS. The usurped heritage" will be inaugurated on
March the 2nd at
9.30 am at the
CenterĀ for Cultural Heritage Communication and Promotion "Giovanni Lilliu", organized in concert together with the
Carabinieri Nucleus for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Cagliari and in collaboration with the
Superintendency of Archeology, Fine Arts, Goods and Landscape for the metropolitan city of Cagliari and the provinces of Oristano and South Sardinia and the
Municipality of Barumini.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness among citizens on the issues of safeguarding and protecting cultural assets, especially young Sardinian students, and to raise awareness of the recovery and protection activities of lost or illegally stolen cultural assets carried out by the Carabinieri Unit for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Cagliari. In the showcase important finds among archaeological, historical, documentary and ecclesiastical assets, from the Bronze Age to the last century.
